HEY, I'M REBEKAH!
HEY, I'M REBEKAH!
I am a minnesota girl living in eastern nc. I love to travel & that has played a huge role in my life. my early 20's I spent living in new zealand and vanuatu - truly some of the best years. then the marine corps brought my husband and I to nc & somehow we never left. now these days look a lot less like traveling for me & a lot more like being a mama and fire wife. I consider myself very blessed to have called multiple places home and I never expected nc to be one of the places I've loved the most.
from disposable cameras to my first DSLR, I've always had a passion for photography. I started out doing portraits and senior pictures for my friends and quickly decided I wanted to learn different areas of photography too. so I ended up working with a family/wedding photographer and then moving overseas to run a media department. I have been all over the place with photography, taking different classes and experimenting, but the thing that I love most is capturing real, authentic moments & that is my goal for your session. I haven't been listening to a lot of music lately, but if I am its probably: Adele, Anson Seabra or Clinton Kane. honestly if it sounds sad I probably love it. but i'm not actually sad
"last one" and then proceed to get extremely inspired and in fact take more than one final picture

a good latte or americano, laughing my head off with my girlfriends, reading a good book, spending time with my little family, gardening, roadtrips and traveling, rollercoasters, trying new foods & being at the ocean. I definitely love a peaceful moment at home but I also want to do allll the things

and my lifelong bestie started a youtube channel senior year of highschool to vlog all the crazy adventures we went on. I always thought we would become famous youtubers but instead we just scared our moms with all the crazy things we did haha
my editing style
I am a warm and filmy girl, but I like to keep things as close to true color as possible. on the other side of things, I am obsessed with the timeless black n white and have to fight myself from making every photo b&w lol
